Prayer
Hello everyone! I just want to say thank you to everyone who has already donated financially and all who have subscribed to this blog. I am overwhelmed by all of the support that has been shown and incredibly grateful. Currently I am about half way to my goal, and need about $3,000 more dollars. Along with that also I ask for continual prayer as I have already.
Here are some things that Im in need of prayer for right now.
Prayer for my heart and mind to continue to be prepared and strengthened through the next few months. Prayer for the rest of the funding to come in, for the rest of the members of my team, their hearts and their time of preparation as they are also entering into this time. Prayer for the YWAM base team that is already in Costa Rica and all the ways that God is working through them. Prayer that they will be refreshed, strengthened and ready to lead the team. Also, please be praying for all the people that we will interact with over the course of the trip, both in Costa Rica and wherever God takes us for the outreach portion of the trip. Prayer that God will be evident and working in and through the team in miraculous ways.
Last night we purchased my ticket to Costa Rica and I will be officially arriving there January 7, 2026. I am feeling conflicted between so much excitement for the trip and all that God has in store, and also so nervous for the big change and all the adjustments that it entails.
My current thoughts and prayers right now:
Romans 5:1-5
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
May we boast always in the beautiful and generous gift of hope that Jesus has given us. May we be humbled by the truth of the gospel, that we do not inherit anything by our works but only by his love. May we imitate his character through his Holy Spirit and may the world know who he is through how we live. My only boast is in my Lord.
So many blessings to you all. :)
