Buenos! Hey everyone! I hope you all are well, and i’m sorry it has been so long.
There has been so much adventure lately from Costa Rican rodeos to cliff jumping, with some horseback riding on the side. I feel so blessed to be able to call this wonderful place my home for a short amount of time.
As wonderful as it is here we are quickly nearing the end of our lecture phase as we are about to start week twelve of twelve! After that the next step is outreach which will consist of two weeks in Costa Rica, away from the base doing bible distribution and then immediately following that we will be flying to do missions in Greece, and Turkish Cyprus!
I have been so blessed with the lecture phase time. it’s been so lovely to sit and learn about the Lord and what it looks like to live out our lives as christians. However I am also so excited for outreach and all of the adventures that await us there.
As we are nearing outreach more and more every day, there are definitely still some necessities. I still need some financial support. Thank you so much to everyone who has given one time generously, and a huge, huge thank you to those who have committed to being short-term monthly donors. You don’t understand how grateful I am. I need $1,500 more to be able to fully fund my outreach phase, for things like food/ groceries, housing and transportation. If anyone is able and feels willing to contribute, any amount helps and would be greatly appreciated. If you feel led to give, you can give here.
Along with the need of finances, as always, there is always a need for prayer. My current prayer requests involve team unity, God’s presence to be active, moving, and transformative over the next two months. Both for us as a team but also for everyone we come across. Also for strength and energy through the spirit so that we are able to be fully present and active in all that the spirit has for us to do.
What I am learning and longing for lately is just to be in a state of learning from the Holy Spirit. To be able to sit in His presence and be able to learn how to live. How to pray, how to love, how to read His word, how to speak, how to act, how to view His world. So pray, if you will, that my heart and mind will become more sensitive to the direction and movement of the spirit. That his voice will be completely irresistible, and that I can learn how to walk more in time with my Jesus.
